Renting Process

1 Register your interest

To ensure your search gets off to the right start, please register your details and property requirements with Glenmore by registering online, calling us on 0208 904 5040, or by visiting our office where our lettings department will be happy to assist you.

2 Finding the right property

You’re now registered with Glenmore along with your search preferences, we can now begin to find you your ideal property. We will keep in regular contact to update you of new properties that become available.

3 Is a short let right for you?

Whether you are a corporate organisation looking to accommodate your staff, or a private individual looking for temporary rental accommodation, a short let offers you the flexibility in short rental periods, and usually comes furnished and with all the utilities included. With rental agreements ranging from one month to six months, Glenmore can help you find the perfect short stay property.

4 Benefits of Corporate Services

In a busy corporate environment it can be incredibly difficult to co-ordinate the movement of staff from one location to another, be that within the UK or from abroad. With different requirements for each staff member, Glenmore offer a bespoke service to companies from all sectors which include conducting one-to-one consultations discussing processes, costs and locations, co-ordination of visits to the area and ongoing support.

5 Consider a managed property

Renting a managed property has the benefit of your day-to-day issues being handled by a dedicated Glenmore property agent, allowing you to have a hassle-free stay.

7 Making an offer

You’ve found the ideal property and have put in an offer of the monthly rental payments. Glenmore will forward your proposal, as well as any requirements you may have, to the respective landlord.

8 Offer agreed

Your offer has been accepted. We will now ask you to provide references. For a long let you will be asked for a previous landlord, bank, employee and/or character references. For a short-let you will be required to produce proof of address and either your passport, national ID card or driving licence. For a short-let tenancy where a company is the tenant you will be required to produce proof of ID for those staying at the property and a letter from the company. Glenmore will carry out a background check with your references and, if passed, you will pay the deposit and the first period’s rent. We will also carry out an inventory check at the property and arrange for the contract to be signed.

9 Completion

Congratulations! You will now receive the keys for the new property and you’re ready to move in.
